About us.

‘Saorsa’ (pronounced 'say-or-sah') is Scottish Gaelic for freedom, liberty and salvation; the name inspired by our founder’s Scottish family, and born from the idea that training is more than physical aesthetics, sweat and hard work, it is about skill, strength, movement, grit and mindset. Based in Brisbane, Queensland, founded by Jodie Tully, Saorsa provides strength and conditioning coaching for developmental to high performance athletes or anyone wanting to commit to their long-term health and well-being. At Saorsa we believe athleticism is a way of life; our approach to achieving optimal sports performance encompasses your body and mind, to give you a sense of ‘Saorsa’ (freedom).

Saorsa partners with High Performance Psychologist Richard Fryer from Performance Mindsets to blend psychological and physical aspects of performance, bringing a whole new perspective for individuals and teams to their performance effectiveness. Jodie and Richard deliver sports specific workshops as a unique offering in a pop-up style event, at venues like The Powerhouse and Flipside Circus, with an emphasis on movement quality, science-based programing and mental preparation. Jodie’s aim is to introduce people to different training styles, build skills and strength in different planes of motion, while educating and empowering participants to move better and train smarter.
